Leoski D
Leoski D is quickly becoming one of the most familiar up and coming urban artists in Chicago and is ready to take on the international scene. Leosk D has been rapping for over eight years and has multiple original EP's, Mixtapes, and a lead role in an original independent movie "Hot Block" to his credit.
Having grown up on the south side of Chicago, Leoski's lyrics incorporate tough times, a life of gang-bangin', and hustling to survive, while at the same time trying to be a responsible father.
Leoski D has a singular focus and drive to be the next big urban artist. His songs have been on rotation on Power 92 FM radio in Chicago, where he has been a repeat on air guest. He is constantly marketing himself and performs regularly at clubs like The Wild Hare, 705 Auditorium, Exodus II, as well as The Virgin Mega Sotore. His street team, made up of life-long friends and family, is always there to support him. Together, they have made Leoski D one of the most recognizable artists in the streets of Chicago.
For his first two singles, "Let Me See You Move" and "Fantasy", Leoski D teamed up with Chicago's Mike Dunn and Grammy winning producer Maurice Joshua to create songs that are sure to relate to both the streets and commercial audiences. Both songs are due for release in the late Spring of 2005 (on ACT 2 Records), and are certain to take the charts by storm.
Have a listen, and enjoy.
